It looks like a lovely place, and I’ll start hunting for elbow length leopard print gardening gloves immediately as a housewarming gift.

I see a sunny corner there where I imagine a BBQ for those sustainably fished and locally grown dishes that go with the veggies.

Congratulations on the new home. I do love the photo of John and the fact that it’s an old door … kind of symbolises the experience we bring with age.

I’ve started sorting my front yard as a garden for herbs, veges and flowers.

I’m really looking forward to walking out and picking herbs for my cooking and then relaxing in the evening sun [it'll stay out until 11pm in the summer] to the scent of night stock and jasmine.

Can’t wait to see your new home when I next visit Freo.
